Private Pilot License

Course Overview

For Fun or Career: Whether flying for leisure or as the start of a professional path, the PPL is foundational.

Course Structure:

Flight Hours: Minimum of 45 hours, including solo flights, navigation exercises, and a 150 NM solo “Qualifying Cross Country” flight with landings at two different airfields.
Basic to Advanced Training: Start with basic exercises, progressing to solo flights, advanced maneuvers, and cross-country flying across the Swiss Alps.
Radiotelephony: Integrated into training, with exposure to full Air Traffic Control from the start.

Students must pass nine written (multiple choice) theory exams throughout the course:

Flexible Learning Options

Courses Available in English, Italian.

Theoretical Training:

Classroom Courses: Flexible scheduling at our facilities, with instructors adapting to your availability.
Blended Learning: Combines traditional classroom lessons with distance learning, suitable for those with other commitments.
Distance Learning: Follow the syllabus and teaching materials via our platform, with an average duration of 2-3 months and weekly commitment of 6-9 hours. Instructors are available for support throughout the course.
Examinations: Conducted in two parts, with the first five subjects mid-course and the remaining four at the end. Passing preliminary exams is required for FOCA examination enrollment.
Start Anytime: Theoretical training is available year-round. Contact us to obtain course materials and access codes for the E-Learning platform.
