Admission to the NEOS ATPL PreSelect Program requires a special request during your application to AELO Swiss Academy. This program demands a higher level of proficiency, and being admitted to the AELO ATPL Integrated Program does not guarantee acceptance into the NEOS PreSelect Program. Only students who demonstrate exceptional skills and potential will be considered.

Course Syllabus

The Neos PreSelect program syllabus, offered by AELO Swiss Academy in combination with its integrated ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) course, provides a unique opportunity for aspiring pilots to train specifically with a focus on potential recruitment by Neos, a prominent Italian leisure airline. This program blends comprehensive pilot training with a direct recruitment evaluation component, offering a clear path toward a career with Neos.

ATPL Integrated Course:
- The syllabus begins with AELO’s standard integrated ATPL training, covering both theoretical and practical aviation knowledge. This phase includes around 750 hours of ground school covering essential subjects such as air law, flight planning, meteorology, and human performance, along with core flight training. Students accumulate the flight hours required for their ATPL, gaining proficiency in single-engine and multi-engine aircraft operations.
- Throughout the ATPL course, students develop critical skills in handling various flight scenarios, with a focus on precision, safety, and efficiency.
PreSelect Recruitment Focus:
- The distinguishing feature of the Neos PreSelect program is the tailored preparation for Neos’ specific recruitment requirements. As students progress through the ATPL course, they receive additional training geared toward meeting the airline’s operational standards and expectations.
APS MCC (Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation):

Simulator Evaluation by Neos Pilots:

What You Will Learn and Achieve

EASA ATPL license

The highest level of pilot certification issued by the Swiss Civil Aviation Authority.

Flight Experience

Accumulated at least 220 hours of flight time, including 100 hours as pilot-in-command and 50 hours of instrument time.

Job Offers

Direct entry into NEOS Airlines as a First Officer upon meeting their standards and requirements.
