Flight Instructor Course (FI)
The flight instructor rating is a professional licence for pilots with at least a commercial pilot education (CPL) teaching either the theoretical and practical training.
As a flight instructor you can be employed with a full time or a part time contract. This allows a great flexibility for people willing to keep their main activity dedicating their free time to the flying school. After an initial theoretical and practical admission test, you will be taught techniques to teach your skills and knowledge to the students. From the first introductory flight to the final examination, you will accompany your student through the entire training. And you won’t easily forget the first solo flight of your first student!
The course includes:
Instrument Rating Instructor Course (IRI)
The privileges of an IRI certificate are to instruct for the issue, revalidation and renewal of an IR on the appropriate aircraft category. The course includes:
Class Rating Instructor Course (CRI)
The privileges of a CRI certificate are to instruct for the issue, revalidation or renewal of a class or type rating for non-complex non-high performance single-pilot aeroplanes. The course includes:
Multi Crew Coordination Instructor Course (MCCI)

Synthetic Training Instructor Course (STI)
The privileges of a STI certificate allows the instructor to carry out synthetic training instruction for the issue, revalidation or renewal of an IR and a class or type rating for single-pilot aircraft
Advanced UPRT Instructor Course
The Advanced UPRT instructor rating will allow the instructor to perform A-UPRT training with students in accordance with EASA FCL.915(e) upon successful completion. The course will cover practical flights, theory lessons regarding the A-UPRT and related instructor theory.
The pre-course flight assessment is performed with an advanced UPRT-instructor instructor holding the privilege in accordance with FCL.915(e)(1) to assess the instructor student’s ability to undertake the course.
The theoretical training of the course consists of 5 hours of Advanced UPRT knowledge instruction and 3 hours of related instructor knowledge. The flight training will consist of at least three flights to allow the student to cover all the necessary manouvers. Additional lessons may be performed to reach the required minimum standard. There is no skill test after course completion.
