AELO Swiss Academy’s 6 Million Euro Investment: A Vision for State-of-the-Art Facilities at Locarno Airport

AELO Swiss Academy is embarking on an exciting new chapter with a 6 million euro investment in cutting-edge facilities at Locarno Airport. Scheduled for completion in 2025, these new state-of-the-art facilities are designed to enhance every aspect of pilot training and student life.

The new campus will feature spacious hangars, capable of housing our entire fleet, providing seamless access for maintenance and operations. Advanced simulators will be integrated into the facility, allowing students to hone their skills in a realistic, controlled environment. Modern classrooms and briefing rooms will be equipped with the latest technology to support comprehensive learning and pre-flight preparation.

The expansion also includes offices and administrative spaces, streamlining the operations and ensuring a professional, supportive environment for both staff and students. Additionally, on-site dormitories will offer comfortable accommodations, creating a convenient and immersive learning experience for our students, allowing them to focus on their training without the distractions of commuting.

While our current facilities have served us well, this significant investment reflects our commitment to the future. We are excited to share this vision for 2025, transforming AELO Swiss Academy into a premier aviation training hub in Europe, tailored to meet the needs of aspiring pilots in the years to come.
